Michael Attends Data Center Construction Conference

Meta Team President and Partner, Alicia Michael, recently attended the Advancing Data Center Construction virtual conference held November 17-18, 2020. The forum was hosted by Hanson Wade and included presentations from industry leaders with Holder Construction Company, DPR Construction, M C Dean, Fluor, Compass Data Centers, Equinix, eBay, Microsoft, and others.

Day one included discussions on project team collaboration, maximizing opportunities for offsite construction, and optimizing procurement strategy. Second-day presentations addressed onsite project management, workforce support and safety, and diversity and inclusion efforts for improved industry culture. Networking opportunities and breakout sessions rounded out the agenda.
